Australian journalists relieved Bondi stabber is white so they don’t have to engage in usual cover-up

Journalists around Australia have breathed a collective sigh of relief tonight, after a man responsible for a mass stabbing was white.

NSW Police have identified Joel Cauchi, a 40-year-old mate, as the assailant that stabbed six people to death and injured many more and as white, and a collective sigh of relief was heard at newsrooms around the country.

“It was such a relief to learn he was white, it such a nice change from all that diversity crime going on that was really starting to overwhelm us. Now I don’t have to engage in some bullshit pretend cover-up for the next week and dance around the issue of multiculturalism and immigration,” Fairfax journalist Nick McKenzie said.

‘I mean, we can now blame white men, domestic violence and the rest while calling for more liberty restrictions and bullshit like knife control. I was burnt out from covering up for the NSW Police officer that murdered two gays, now it’s all ‘good job police’ with a dose of female empowerment shite thrown on top.’

McKenzie said he planned to do a series of follow up articles on how people who were anywhere in Bondi at the time of the stabbing can qualify for the NDIS.

Now that the dust has somewhat settled after Iranian retaliatory strike on Israel, let’s put some dot points together and see if we can connect these. Sources are Zerohedge, Telegram and MSM. I’m not linking, as the post will not go through, but these are fairly easy to find.

  • Israel has almost completely pulled out of Gaza in the last couple of weeks.
  • Israel is about to draft up to 2 brigades of reservists to clean out south of Gaza from Hamas.
  • Israeli strike on Iranian consulate building in Syria is against all rules on diplomatic assets being off limits.
  • Iranian strike has used over 300 projectiles, mainly Shaheed drones well known from Ukrainian conflict, but also ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
  • US, UK and France took part in shooting down incoming threats along with Israel.
  • Israel was considering a response, potentially taking out Iranian nuclear facilities.
  • Biden warned Netanyahu that US will not take part in any offensive action.
  • So far no response from Israel, just talk and threats.
  • Iranian attack was repelled at a cost of $1B, Iranian Shaheeds are roughly $10K each, so on pure economics Iran is way ahead.
  • Netanyahu is facing a serious political threat at home, so this war is the only thing keeping his grip on power. Once the war is over, he is done and likely jailed.
  • Iron Dome et al did well in shooting down drones and ballistics, hypersonics not so much. Videos show direct hits inside Israel. Reports are that two airfields/bases were hit.

So what’s next?

  • Israel is desperate to get US dragged into this war, as it cannot defeat Hamas on its own after 7 months of levelling Gaza.
  • Biden doesn’t need another war before the elections.
  • Iran is a more serious threat than it was before, with missiles that were shown to break through the impenetrable Iron Dome.
  • Houtis, Iranian proxies, are a threat to global shipping in Red sea, and so far cannot be stopped.
  • Iran sits north of the Straight of Hormuz, a major shipping lane for quarter of world’s oil and third of world’s LNG supply. A few tankers on the bottom of the straight, and it is blocked.
  • Israel cannot back down. Netanyahu cannot back down. Israeli government will likely double down, as they have in their history.
  • Limited damage to Israel was likely intended to keep from escalation, but it will not be the same in the future should Israel decide to retaliate on its own.
  • In conclusion, I expect this maelstrom to grow.

Your thoughts?

Stewie

“It is prophesized that there will be a War between Ishmael and the children of Edom over Israel, and through this war the children of Israel shall inherit the earth”

https://www.chabad.org/kabbalah/article_cdo/aid/1392054/jewish/The-Exile-of-Ishmael.htm

Not that I believe it – sort of. The thing with Prophecy is that it is a form of empowerment. It creates a folklore acceptance of an idea or a possibility, so a prophecy on “A great Warrior from the North will free the Edomites.” to a bunch of ignorant Edomite slaves, means that should any warrior from the North actually emerge either tomorrow or in 200yrs, that warrior will be imbued with the power of the prophecy theoretically empowering him with their support. The point is that they can shape behaviour.

Now I don’t believe that prophecy around Ishmael, but what I believe isn’t the point. The fact is there are a great many Israelis and members of Netanyahu ‘s party or are in his coalition that do believe that.

My point isn’t that I believe this will happen, just do not discount the possibility that the reactions or choices may not be rational, because to some war is more than just inevitable, it has been prophesized.

Poochy

You’ve said that you don’t believe it three times.

beginning to suspect that you do actually believe it.

JimsCentralBanking

Great point.

I often don’t think about this aspect of what could be influencing decision making.

Poochy

Israel has almost completely pulled out of Gaza in the last couple of weeks.

Israel is about to draft up to 2 brigades of reservists to clean out south of Gaza from Hamas.

so they pulled out, but are going back on?

Iranian attack was repelled at a cost of $1B, Iranian Shaheeds are roughly $10K each, so on pure economics Iran is way ahead.

Iron Dome et al did well in shooting down drones and ballistics, hypersonics not so much. Videos show direct hits inside Israel. Reports are that two airfields/bases were hit.

these two points conflict with each other and other info out there.

it seems to be the case that the shahheds were shot down by regular planes. That would be cheap.

so probably only the fancy missiles needed to be shot down with the iron dome and that should mean that the cost of launching and cost of repelling is about even.

who knows what the exact numbers are, but my general sense was actually the opposite to yours. Specifically if 300 projectiles only land a dozen hits, then the economics of strikes is very much against Iran. The distance is a big hindrance.

maybe they can do 3,000 total launches and score 120 hits before they’ve burned through most of their stockpile. Then what?

Limited damage to Israel was likely intended to keep from escalation, but it will not be the same in the future should Israel decide to retaliate on its own.

There’s probably an element of that, but also the background fact that the missiles are accurate to within a radius of a few hundred metres. So they can’t really decide what to target, only what region.

Iran sits north of the Straight of Hormuz, a major shipping lane for quarter of world’s oil and third of world’s LNG supply. A few tankers on the bottom of the straight, and it is blocked.

I don’t think that really matters. If the waterway is blocked, it’s blocked for everyone. Ships must take the long way around and deliveries are slowed/prices rise to compensate.

In conclusion, I expect this maelstrom to grow.

In which case they will print. bullish for asset markets and inflationary.

The90kwbeast

But inflationary means higher rates

There is little chance the fed reserve will want to see inflation jump again and would surely aggressively hike rates

Which is bad for asset prices

no, I think it’s a bit different.
they wouldn’t more rates in a situation where the US needs to do serious military spend.

and it’s the spend itself that is inflationary – spend $500b on war equipment then it all gets blown up. Nothing tangible to show for it, but the $500b is out there forever.

Gruppenführer Mark

so they pulled out, but are going back on?

they pulled out to regroup, I’d think. Again, I am not deeply in the know, just the headlines. Drafting 2 brigades could be to cover losses sustained in the first 7 months, but those numbers are very hard to come by.

these two points conflict with each other and other info out there.

it seems to be the case that the shahheds were shot down by regular planes. That would be cheap.

so probably only the fancy missiles needed to be shot down with the iron dome and that should mean that the cost of launching and cost of repelling is about even.

Shaheeds are cheap, but effective in overwhelming air defenses. On the face value, 300 shaheeds = $3M. Add, say, $200M worth of missiles. On the other hand, cost to Israel was estimated at $1B (some say $1.3, but let’s go with a lower figure). If you have better numbers, I’m all ears.

maybe they can do 3,000 total launches and score 120 hits before they’ve burned through most of their stockpile. Then what?

The point of the exercise wasn’t to score hits, but a warning. Iran, according to info available through search engines, has several thousand missiles, and an unknown number of shaheeds, which are cheap. Use the slow drones to overwhelm the air defenses, send missiles to clean up the target. This tactic has been demonstrated in Ukraine over last year.

There’s probably an element of that, but also the background fact that the missiles are accurate to within a radius of a few hundred metres. So they can’t really decide what to target, only what region.

Missile accuracy is way closer than few hundred metres. Your Maps app on your phone pinpoints your location down to a few meters, and that is not a military application. Also, reliability on satellites, which can be jammed, is not required any more. Path can be pre-programmed, and missile or drone can fly autonomously. I still think that hits in the desert by Iran were a capability demonstration.

I don’t think that really matters. If the waterway is blocked, it’s blocked for everyone. Ships must take the long way around and deliveries are slowed/prices rise to compensate.

Prices rising is not the point. When this much supply of hydrocarbons is cut off, there are no other sources readily available to fill the gap. And this can literally happen overnight. The world still runs on hydrocarbons and developing and third world even more so.

In which case they will print. bullish for asset markets and inflationary.

Yep. Time to buy another property.

Poochy

On the face value, 300 shaheeds = $3M. Add, say, $200M worth of missiles. On the other hand, cost to Israel was estimated at $1B (some say $1.3, but let’s go with a lower figure). If you have better numbers, I’m all ears.

Ok, so multiply everything by 10, for the next 10 salvos, and Iran is $9b ahead economically.

but then the stockpile is gone and it would become a question of materiel and not dollars, would it not?

Use the slow drones to overwhelm the air defenses, send missiles to clean up the target. This tactic has been demonstrated in Ukraine over last year.

Does that really work in practice? Feels like the difference in speed between the drones and missiles is too big.

drone might travel at 200kmh while missile at 2,000kmh. So in the time that a drone goes 5km into the country, the missile will have reached the mediterranean.

differences to Ukraine seems to be:

  • Ukraine is big so hard to cover with air defences but israel is small
  • And ukraine has no airforce left or doesn’t control its own airspace but israel has planes and uncontested airspace
  • Ukraine has a border with russia but Israel has the buffer of friendly jordan airspace

i suspect this means that the drones may as well not exist as they would be of extremely marginal use

Poochy

Prices rising is not the point. When this much supply of hydrocarbons is cut off, there are no other sources readily available to fill the gap. And

but the gas won’t disappear. It will just take the longer way around.

might need another couple of tankers running and a bit of demand destruction to take up the slack but it’ll be fine.

The world still runs on hydrocarbons and developing and third world even more so.

a bit less fine for developing world if they are least capable of paying and at the bottom of the pecking order

stagmal

how is there even going to be a war between iran and israel. they dont border each other. america isnt going to get involved because they literally dont have enough stuff to and ukraine would immediately be swallowed by russia and china might even attempt to attack taiwan. i dont see how this can escalate any further than a few more chessboard diplomacy missile and drone strikes

iran would have to bus troops in to syria to attack israel and they would get shot down in the process or attacked with missiles it would be a disaster. i dnot see why people are so fearful of some huge escalation occuring, it can only ever happen if the cuck u.s friendly arab regimes surrouding israel get overthrown and deposed. too much has to happen for stuff to happen.

Last edited 8 months ago by stagmal
The90kwbeast

I think at this point the safe comment is, expect the unexpected.

Who knows how many Iranian or Iranian friendly soldiers are in Syria right now, for example..

Didn’t you repeatedly suggests the Ukraine war would be over with a Russian victory in like 6 months…

stagmal

“Didn’t you repeatedly suggests the Ukraine war would be over with a Russian victory in like 6 months…”

no wtf

i literally predicted the war would actually start and was the only one here to do so

i just thought it would end quick when it first started – but everybody did (including putin seemingly), not just me

“Who knows how many Iranian or Iranian friendly soldiers are in Syria right now, for example..

do you have evidence they have any meaningful number there at all, especially a consequentially large enough number to actually attack israel? you don’t think the pentagon or israel would already know about that?

hezbollah could attack sure but im not sure how meaningful that could be for israel on its own.

maybe something might happen but i think people are overreacting to the potential for extreme escalation. its a good thing if youre buying the right stuff though.

Last edited 8 months ago by stagmal
The90kwbeast

It’s just an example, and if Israel counter attacks which seems very likely we’ll see another counter from Iran which will likely up the ante again.

Not everyone thought Iran would attack at all only last week.

It’s history making what has just occured so who knows where it all leads.

Heavy repeated rocket and drone attacks from multiple sides on Israel would probably break their defence and cause dozens potentially hundreds of casualties pending the targets.

Combined with targeted Guerilla style land warfare in the north and east.

If Egypt tears up it’s peace accord then it could really be game on.

The90kwbeast

As an aside it’s impressive Iran could even attack Israel at all.

Australia couldn’t currently pull that off, if we were in Iran’s position FFS

Israel is desperate to get US dragged into this war, as it cannot defeat Hamas on its own after 7 months of levelling Gaza.

Short of killing absolutely everyone in the place the US can’t either.
How did afghanistan go?
The fundamental problem is an unwillingness to do the only thing that will actually achieve victory.

Gruppenführer Mark

Oh, I think there is plenty of willingness on Israeli side, and the US, to bomb a few places into smithereens. Social media and everyone having a phone with a camera turned the world into an uncontrolled media feed. Protests of Israeli tactics were not fuelled by the MSM, but by socials.

commentBot

If they wanted it flat and uninhabited, they could make it so. Social media is a part of the cause of the unwillingness.

stagmal

lmao how the fuck does this judge know brucey is a rapist on the balance of probabilities? its just unknowable given the circumstances

Gouda

Making a finding on a balance of probabilities is sufficient for a civil case, but not a criminal one.

The irony is it was Lehrmann’s decision to initiate defamation action to try and make a quick buck, but with this outcome his reputation is now in an even worse state than before.

stagmal

i know, but even on the balance of probabilities this is sub-knowable imo. especially given how he handbrushed the bruise thing which seemed really weird

stagmal

it’s over for him

he should have walked a long time ago

dont really agree with the result andboth of them are sketch now but higgins wins after this

Chicken

The judgement seems to involve a lot of convoluted reasoning that can more or less be interpreted as “i don’t fucking know what happened, but if I had to guess I’m gonna side with Higgins”. I don’t see any real proof one way or the other, but I guess that’s not how civil cases work.

That said, if Bruce is really innocent, he’s still a fucking idiot for putting himself in this position in the first place, given our anti-male climate. I had thought most male professionals now know not to put themselves in a situation where they’re alone with a female colleague (let alone take one back to the office half way through a bender), cos HR will always take the woman’s side, but here we are.

commentBot

i know, but even on the balance of probabilities this is sub-knowable

Almost all rape cases are unknowable to anyone not present at the actual incident unless it is a complete fabrication and you can prove one of the parties was somewhere else at the time.
It is entirely he said she said and you have to pick one or the other to believe.

Edit: Frankly most criminal trials come down to which of the witnesses you choose to believe, although this is becoming less so in the age of omnipresent video surveillance.

Last edited 8 months ago by commentBot
stagmal

but even by the standards of rape trials this one was bleak. the judge said they were both liars and even said they hooked up etc. no idea how he determined rape even on a 50% chance

no idea how he determined rape even on a 50% chance

The same way they always do. the judge/jury decides who they believe(or potentially like) more.
That is quite literally the job.

stagmal

why conclude on either, why not “i dont know if anyone was raped’ which seems like the most fair conclusion

Gruppenführer Mark

Not sure the legal system works this way. It’s either guilty or not guilty. Otherwise, mistrial and round two/three/whatever.

stagmal

it wasnt a case whether brucey had commited rape or not, but whether or not he had been dfeamed. i think you can fairly conclude he was defamed if its fair enough to say that the people accusing him of rape really had no fair (even 50% really) basis that he did. given how trash both of their credibility was i dont khow how you can extract any truth out of that human sewer. the guys whole judgement was weirdly biased in favour of hippo

Not according to this.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-15/bruce-lehrmann-defamation-trial-judgment/103706656

‘Escaped the lion’s den’: Bruce Lehrmann eviscerated in 16 words
Concluding his judgement, Justice Lee revealed the big “mistake” made by Mr Lehrmann in relation to the proceedings.

Next he’s saying something about spreading flour over Britney so Bruce could find the wet spot,

And the fact newsmedia feel they can openly call Bruce a rapist

I may be an antisemite but I don’t see a Jewish conspiracy behind every granular incident.

IMHO the Jewish conspiracy was lobbying and allowing these goat fuckers into the country in the first place in order to break up Christian/white dominance and to ferment conflict that gives wider society another target to focus on rather than Jewish activities of economically raping and pillaging our social capital.

Control the cultural direction of a society and there is less need to micromanage every aspect of it.

Yes, good synopsis. It was a message being sent. The point about ow you don’t need nukes when you can hit Israel’s nuke reactor and gain the desired effect, is salient in my opinion.

Good find.

@Peachy,

Lots of thoughts in Simplicisus’ piece are very similar to my quick take above, but he supplies links/videos. Would be a worthwhile read.

Something is rotten in the state of Canadia

I think we will only see major consequences of youth disaffectation if WW3 starts and Western countries can’t get enough volunteers to fight, Ukrainian conscription tactics will lead to Ukrainian results.

Other than that, most third-world countries are still pretty stable so the West can easy reach that level of dysfunction without seriously affecting TPTB

OzCuck

Redditors caused this. God I loathe them. We may have had a chance if it weren’t for cancel culture.

ive been trying all morning to attach a medicare / IHI number to my mygov account because i need to refill a prescription for a cystic acne skin cream ive run out of that ive been using for 7 fucking years and the only medicare centre in town is booked out for a month and a half so i have to get a telehealth appointment before my skin starts getting destroyed again, and thats not possible without the details i apparently dont have that i cannot get at all

every govt site i interface with gives me error messages or sends me on wild goose chases with phone numbers where the wait time is like 9 hours (longer than my phone battery life) or it randomly hangs up for no reason

the medical centre never had book out problems EVER before 1.5 years ago before they ramped up the migration rate, not once. i could go in there on any given day, wait 45 mins to 2 hours and get in and get my prescription refilled

theres also absolutely NO REASON this cream (tretinoin) has to be prescription required except to make the greedy medicos even more money, its not harmful at all and youd have to be a moron to misuse it (if thats even possible). celebrities use it cosmetically to looksmax because it has potent anti-aging qualities

so much of the demand for all the things we’re apparently always in terminal shortage of in australia is the result of bullshit like this, a completely artificial economy run by special interest scum

celebrities use it cosmetically

They also use steroids and growth hormone.
Just saying.

But overall welcome to the experience the rest of us have had for a decade or more.

stagmal

tretinoin isnt remotely comparable to fucking roids and growth hormone you contrarian fucker

commentBot

Ok DR stag. Lay off the crack pipe.
If you want to provide some actual evidence other than celebrities use it then go ahead but I stand by the statement that celebrities use growth hormone so that is a far from ringing endorsement of it’s safety.

Maybe take it up with the government. LOL.

why would i bother presenting evidence to you cunt

its mostly a completely harmless topical cream unless you severely overuse it but thats true for everything including OTC shit; worst result is some increased skin/sun sensitivity

yeah im on alldaychemist but apparently the shipping times are as long as the drs wait and your shit often gets seized in transit but i think ill risk it its not very expensive

Nemesis

have you had it seized before?

stagmal

no, but heard it from other people that it can happen, its a bit of a crapshoot whether it gets through apparently

they ship it in nondescript tubes

Nemesis

pretty rare from what I’ve heard – customs have got better shit to do than confiscate low-level pharma stuff

That’s fucked.

If you’ve needed to use that cream for 7 years there’s a problem other than the usual androgen induced acne.

Living the western lifestyle the odds are it’s insulin related.

its genetic my mum had the same problem all her life

i was on roaccutane too didnt sotp it which is basically the biggest nuke to acne you can get

Nemesis

ah just read this, didn’t work for you? geez you really are an unlucky buggar

JimsCentralBanking

It still might be worth trying a low GI and low glycemic load diet for a few months to see if it improves your skin. You’re definitely in the nothing lose camp, particularly if you’re carrying a bit of chub.

Nemesis

go on Accutane and cure the cystic acne then save the tretinoin for anti-aging/looksmaxxing or whatever the fk you want ot do with it.

But also, they are cowards

Stewie

But also, they are cowards

No man knows his mettle until he’s truly been tested. I as a typical 21st century man have been fortunate in that I have never been tested, spreadsheets and bus commutes don’t make for dangerous living. But I like many men have pondered how I would react in such a situation.

In a way I am a little envious of bollard guy – he was tested and found capable. Whatever the horrors he saw that day he can take some solace from the fact that he now has some measure of himself. The same with the other heros who confronted him and lived to tell the tale.

I don’t know how I would perform in similar circumstances, most likely I would be with my family and so my unquestioned priority would be to defend them – and in that regard I have no question as to my actions.

But with by myself on a quick shopping expedition with perfect strangers and innocents being attacked and the possibility of other attackers about? My hopes as a fairly big and fit guy would be that I would attempt to fulfill my basic responsibility as a man and defender of society, and protect those around me who couldn’t protect themselves. Beyond that I have no idea.

I wouldn’t call anyone a coward unless I had been through similar situations and already been tested and found capable, like Bollard guy. But being through a test like that is something I hope I never have to experience.

Gouda

The only advice I remember from self defence training if confronted with a knife wielder was to run, and if you can’t do that than try anything to keep your distance – something like a chair makes sense.

In a crisis you have to improvise like the bollard guy did, but easier said than done and it will probably depend on whether you panic or can keep your cool. I think in a large shopping centre if I have to defend others I’d be trying to get to a sports store to grab a golf club or baseball bat. If the threat is coming up an escalator pushing a shopping trolley down it might do the trick.

Spanian has some good advice about defending the neck and face.

Stewie

In defense of legacy Australians I saw an interview of at least one young Aussie bogan who did intervene, running around with a chair and eventually guiding the copper to his location.

There was one big guy there, but he was with his family, but his presence at the bottom of the escalators was enough to make him change direction. But the thing to remember is that a guy with a knife is deadly dangerous, over a short distance more deadly than a gun. Coppers are told to shoot knife welders with good reason – as we all can now plainly see.

There were Aussie men there, it is just that the media chooses to focus on the antics of a foreign savior at the top of an escalator armed with a bollard and handely infront of a security camera, rather than a tattoo covered skin head legacy Australian running around with a white chair trying to keep him at bay.

Media shape the narrative – look at how quickly they tried to turn it into a ‘targeting women’ ‘hatred of women’ theme, when he was just a disorganised mind trying to find the path of least resistance in terms of fighting his way out of a shopping center filled with people who wanted to kill him? (in his mind)

>Coppers are told to shoot knife welders with good reason

I guess it’s best. Could’ve shot him in the leg or the guts.

Running around with a chair isn’t really the same as tackling him or using your karate skills to take him down.

At the end of the day most people aren’t brave so I’m not judgy about it. Bullies always target the non violent guys and the weak, and most people generally side with the bullies or the bully approved.

OzCuck

Yeah that’s scary. All you need is a lighting quick arm which can be gotten with a bit of cheap weight lifting.

commentBot

as tackling him or using your karate skills to take him down.

That’s a great way to end up on the ground bleeding out while knife guy gets back up and continues.

If you get within arms reach of a guy with a knife who means to use it you are fucked. A gun is FAR less dangerous at that distance. You can grab the gun and point it away from you. How exactly are you planning on grabbing the knife?
A chair to keep the guy beyond arms reach is far more effective than tackling or karate skills.

If you really want to find out how dead you’d be go play with someone with a sharpie and see if you can get it off them before they can draw on your throat, arms legs chest or anywhere else likely to make you bleed out.

It feels like we are heading to a Singapore type situation where there is a large ‘under class’ of low wage workers. If we genuinely intend to go in this direction, the main questions would be a) how to house them (i.e. dormitories, high density / low cost, cheap accommodation), b) how their environmental impact could be kept low (i.e. not allowed to own vehicles, white goods, water rationing), c) how the middle & upper-class children can get proper jobs and not have their work prospects brought down by the millions of working poor, etc. Not saying this is the future MB readers want, just trying to see how this will resolve (in the absence of national revolt).

Panic stations, if policies don’t change Australia will only be in the situation of a better administrated, wealthier and more socially cohesive country.

There’s no template for where Australia is headed, our future can neither be compared to the US which at least has a complex economy, nor to a homogenous poor Eastern European country, nor to a place like South Africa since our demographics are too different, nor to Argentina with its leftist bullshit that would get shut down fast here. Malaysia could be the closest comparison for the moment.

Drago

The social disruption has already started, especially in Victoria where it’s been circling the drain for as long as Dan Andrews first started stealing oxygen.

This happened on the weekend and I one even picked it up…especially since the media hid the fact it was a Sudanese gang fighting with machetes in a food court. Journalists called them “kids” and then “armed men”, but the weasels couldn’t bring themselves to tel the truth.

I’d argue there are plenty of examples, where Choos have engineered the flooding of many European countries with Africans etc. England, Scotland, Ireland as well, facilitated by Conservative governments and Muslims who infiltrated years ago.

Culturally EZFKA is in a far worse position because the old “tall poppy syndrome” will self sabotage anyone who might lead us out of this. Legacy Aussies used to think it was an endearing anti establishment thing, but it means they will never be able to organise themselves to defeat the Soyboy establishment.
