Kerry Chant appointed NSW State Coroner after uncanny ability to determine COVID deaths within minutes

Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant has been confirmed as the new NSW State Coroner, after repeatedly demonstrating her uncanny ability to announce the cause of death within just minutes of a patient dying.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian confirmed the appointment at the morning press conference and that it would take place effectively immediately.

“It’s something I’ve only had since the start of March 2020 so it’s a skill that’s developed relatively quickly,” Chant said.

“I mean, usually an autopsy can take anywhere up to a couple of weeks to get done and a report even longer than that. It’d mark the first time in EZFKA history that any level of government has worked this efficiently, so it’s a momentous occasion.”

Chant will also be reviewing the guidelines for causes of deaths, ensuring that as many conditions as possible are shoehorned into the definition of COVID in the coming weeks.

Coming

Fucking lol

she seems sweet though

too incompetent and bumbling to be running a grand conspiracy

maybe that’s why they chose her to be the public face

The90kwbeast

No grand conspiracy indeed, just covid case whack a mole. My take is doctors tend to be risk averse and are soon starting to not factor in the wider picture.

stagmal

there’s no conspiracy yep, just incompetence, ass-covering and sunk cost. what we’re witnessing is the longest instance of somebody digging themselves into a hole deeper and deeper.

a good year more of digging yet…

Peachy

So what’s the deal here?

  1. cops fined her for anti-gov protest, as an intimidation tactic
  2. cops withdrew fine, because she did nothing wrong
  3. she went to court anyway
  4. judge decided to take the opportunity to declare that EZFKA units based in the province formerly known as Victoria have no right to protest?

are peachy peepers parsing correctly?

bjw678

It sure seems that way.

no right to protest unless the government approves

The90kwbeast

Well that’s how it generally works, all protests need to be approved is my understanding.

Which defeats the purpose of a protest.
